As per your request a safety ruler with an extremely hard cutting edge but without the round stainless rod inset.

Due to progress in anodising aluminium the Safety Ruler - "Black X" has almost the same hardness as the stainless steel rod on the black stainless steel edition ruler but without the annoying round cutting rod.
