A little bit about us, the real us.

We started out in 1996 from a small sign shop in Devon. John and Louise, our founders, were running their own sign company, facing all of the challenges that people in our industry face every day. They began looking for ways to save time and increase profits, without compromising on finish.

Back then, framed signs were incredibly popular but wood was expensive and prone to deteriorate, so they developed a PVC framing system called Stockframe which was quick to assemble and added value to signboards. They mass produced this for the market and it quickly became a hit. From this they began developing and adding other tools and consumables to the range. Fast forward 30 years and we now have over 4000 products and the largest independent sign tooling company in the UK. 

Signgeer’s reputation and success have always been a combination of two things, innovative products and exceptional service. It’s the values brought forward from working in such a customer focussed industry. Where quality, reliability and an enthusiastic approach are essential to success. 

We would be nowhere without the loyalty and support of our customers, so it’s why we always pull out all the stops to help people save the day, every day. Signman is our mascot and hero, but the real heroes of Signgeer are each one of you and it means the world to us that you choose to shop in our imaginary city of Printropolis. 

It’s easy to see that we don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we’re very serious about the service we provide to you.
