Button-Fix - Type 3 (Push Fit)

The push-on/pull-off mount for the easy fitting of wall and ceiling panels. Particularly parallel panels, including those with no clearance at the side.

The Button-fix concept is simple: durable polymer fixings are attached to the back of one panel and the mating buttons are attached to the other. Bring the panels together until the Button-fixes 'click'. Sold individually - one fix and one button per set.

Connects panels face to face with a 3mm or 8mm gap

It can be surface-mounted or semi-recessed into the panel and its installation depth matches the Type 1 Button-fix, allowing the two fasteners to be used to hang adjacent panels.

As a general guide, four Button-fix Type 3 fasteners on a vertical panel will support loads weighing up to a maximum of 60kg (132 lbs), provided that the screws and substrate are properly matched and all other installation instructions are complied with.

Four Type 3 Button-fixes can also support a ceiling panel of up to 10kg (22 lbs).

Tested and warranted for internal use only. Button-fix can be used outside for sign panels if not subjected to direct sunlight, but will not be covered by warranty. Please get in touch for further assistance with external applications if required. 

Suitable for 5mm countersunk wood screws. Can be used with the Button-fix Marker tool.
