Building on the huge success of the all-purpose Keencut Excalibur, and recognising the increasing demands of thicker, tougher sign materials, the design brief was simple. “Create a brand new vertical cutting machine exclusively for the Sign Maker. It must be the best manual cutter ever made but offer exceptional value for money. 

Please note when cutting aluminium composite panels, due to the way that the manual cutting wheels operate on any vertical cutter of this style; there will be a slight bend on the panel to the right hand side of the cut which is typically the offcut piece. The larger the board, the less apparent this is due to a larger surface area for the pressure of the cut to dissipate. If you would like to check the suitability, please send a sample of your preferred aluminium composite to cut and return for approval. This does not apply to any other materials. 

Cuts 4mm ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) and 3mm SCP (Steel Composite Panel) easily with a dramatically reduced bend on the left hand side of the cut in comparison to the original head which makes it perfect for cutting panels for processing on flatbed printers. 

Twin wheel cutting action cuts Steel Composite Panel without the risk of sparks.

Supplied fitted with one pair of high carbon, hardened steel cutting wheels.
