Big Boy Lightweight Body Filler - Easy Sanding

Surface prep is the most important step prior to applying architectural wrap films. The surface should be completely smooth before you apply material, if it is not you will need to apply a filler and sand the surface to flatten it. 

This general-purpose polyester filler offers easy application and excellent sanding properties. It is a two-part putty with high elasticity and gripping ability to a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal and rigid plastics.

Its lightweight and talc-free which allows it to sand to a smooth finish, without clogging up your abrasive paper during the process. Recommended grit - P80 - P120.

Corrosion resistant, meaning it is great for internal and external use including but not limited to; kitchen cabinets and doors, desks, tables, walls, window frames and more. 

250ml or 600ml tin available. Larger sizes available on request. 

Application instructions

Mixing ratio 100 parts putty : 2 parts hardener - sitr thoroughly.

Layer thickness: maximum 5mm, apply in thin coats allowing each to cure fully.

Pot life: 4-7 minutes at 20°C

Hardening time: 20-30 minutes at 20°C (lower temperatures will significantly increase hardening time)

IR drying: 5-7 minutes in short waves, depending on the layer thickness and type of heater. Do not exceed 60 degrees.Wait 5 minutes before beginning the IR process.

Sanding: Coarse sanding (dry) P80-P120, finish sanding (dry) P120-P320

Storage

Store the product components between 15 to 25°C in a sealed container, in a dry and cool place, away from fire and heat sources, as well as direct sunlight.

Note:
1. Close the container after use.
2. Protect the hardener from frost and dampness
